I grew up in Gaithersburg, MD and have two younger sisters.  After attending a local high school and my parish youth group, I went to university at Loyola College in Maryland.  I ran cross country and track and was involved in church and service work during high school and college.

After completing my bachelor’s degree and a brief period of missionary training, I worked as a youth minister in a parish in the Chicago area.  I returned to my hometown and entered priestly formation for the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., for three and a half years.  After leaving the seminary I took a job as a technical writer for a multinational security technology firm.

I have recently started Catholic University’s PhD program in Biblical Studies.  Please pray for me, because the program is fairly intense.
