RE: Christian Witness in the Aftermath of Hate
I am liturgical but nonCatholic and we believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament. I am also an African American and I can tell you that if Prof. Myers was sitting around threatening to piss on a picture of Martin Luther King Jr. or Malcolm X there would be a riot. But for Jesus' Blessed Sacrament-no outcry except from the Roman Catholics. Typical. Well, I remember that Paul said that anyone who does not discern the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist will be guilty of the Body and Blood of Jesus. "And some are sick and some sleep..." because of this lack of discernment. How much more so will God judge a man who deliberately offends the Sacrament? I will ask my people to do a Holy Hour in reparation for this vicious nonsense. Poor, foolish man!
